Nat Wood
Creating is very human. It is what makes me feel the most connected to myself. Art has always been an important outlet for me during my life-- especially when things were challenging and I needed space to process. Art allows us an abstract way to process complex feelings.I have created this website to share my art and to have a single place where it can all be kept.
Thank you for visiting, please enjoy your stay
Hi there! I'm Nat Wood, I am a recent college graduate and lover of all things art. I graduated with a B.S. in Sustainability and Inequality Studies, but originally went to college for art.
I realized that art to me is much more personal and not what I would like to be my career. Art to me is an outlet and way for me to process life; both the joy and sadness.
I hope to go to grad school to study Human Geography, specifically how systems of oppression inform our physical landscape; integrating creating into the research I aim to do.

I am currently focused on doing direct work in my community and spending time making art with my friends.
I started throwing pottery sophomore year of high school. I fell in love with it as it allowed me to ignore everything else and focus on the clay. The pieces below are from my time at Keene State College 2021 to 2024. I hope to make more pieces soon in another studio.
These are mixed media pieces as well as miscellaneous mediums from roughly 2018 to present. I have found that I really enjoy collaging and adding different elements and texture together to see what happens.
I also enjoy collaging the cover of each sketchbook I start. I am almost done on another sketchbook, so maybe another collage will join the gallery soon.
